Influence of cinema on children.
Cinema has been one of the major sources of mass media!
Without cinema we cannot imagine our life and if it hadn’t come into existence,
we would have lived our life differently! It includes many channels and many
shows, serials and programs are shown. Different films, movies,
documentaries started taking place and people started getting acquainted with
cinema and its sources! It leaves sometimes psychological impact on people
especially the children! Every show is made to appeal its target audience but
cinema is open for all. It is not restricted so unintentionally children learn
a lot what they are not supposed to learn! Glamour, abusing words, slanging
have become part of some shows which are shown to convey a real picture and
sometimes it is presented to appeal target audience and interest of people! Sex
appealing leaves a major impact on children’s mind because they are not aware
of it and it arouses many questions in their mind and if you restrict them, it
will arouse their curiosity more. When they are too young to understand the
things, they cannot be expected to discern it or to avoid it! Magical shows
leave children live in world of magic which is just delighting at some extent
but if we have a proper glance, it also creates an important impact. At some
extent they want their imagination to be real or fulfilled and parents have to
make them aware about its unreality. It creates question in children’s mind if
it is unreal why it is being shown! One of the popular serials was Shakalaka
Boom Boom! Children always imitate their classmates and they are bent on having
things which their friends are having! The reality shows like
little champ, Boogie, Woogie are good shows. The children take inspiration and prevail on their
parents to let them join the classes and allow them to participate! It is a
good impact on them! Film like Krish gives them an outlet to fly over the sky. No
matter if it is an imaginative story but the hidden message is nothing is
impossible and one has to believe in his performance! Do believe in truth,
goodness, morality, devotion. Evil will always be destroyed! Ra-one is one of
the examples and at that time children were so attracted the way the boy
character has been portrayed in the movie and it became an archetypal!
