It has always irritated me to write but this time it is another issue and a worth feel !
What I think of it has nothing to do with feminism!
There are two ideologies. One can make it fall under a definition which claims at giving equivalent rights to women. But does it not itself show "gender differences or discrimination" in its definition while defining "feminism"? You're actually proclaiming equal rights and it indicates that there are no equal rights and it needs " a worth glance" to settle similarity!
Another ideology can be distinguishable from above one. Feminism is all about celebrating feminine, or an individual! Two countries are different. Two states differ from each other. Two cities differ. Two persons can be different, even if they're male or female.
What all one needs to do is to contradict, not to compare. In comparing one creates differences but in differentiating one makes "both" an individual from their specific persona. It can be to celebrate girliness or feminine, her beauty, grace, sheer delicacy, absorption, aberration, intoxication, and modesty too.
A gift- irresistible to feel or to love or to be lived !
Today, if any movie revolves around the characteristics of women or how they are treated or tempted, it is taken as a feminist movie. If it breaks down rooster coop or snatch out their pleasure in extravagant ways, it becomes adultery! It is a worth taking note or discernment to judge the way of "being a woman"! It needs to be felt not in accordance with the society or the way it mirrors it but it's a self of a woman at every necessary aspect. It's not a woman's aberration towards abrasive ways of her treatment but a celebration to "an unawareness" at which only society looks but it doesn't matter to her!
It is all about feminism. But this song is the answer to FEMINISM. It is not a QUESTION to feminism.
The song makes me dance in an eccentric manner, imbibing in intoxicating way with all comfort level.
I listen to it at full volume, without headphones, having a bunch of friends whose dance is not as graceful as mine but their posing sessions are so embarrassing as mine! I truly take ultimate delight to dance on this song with those mad heads.
I haven't seen the movie. I haven't tried to study it too. But this is what I can discern while feeling the words!
Dancing as well as — listening to London Thumakda.
