An Origin!

September 18, 2013 at 12:13am

It is not the story of aspirations but it's a story of an self- exploration; realization or sensation that comes out from uterine of a desire! It's all about an acknowledgement!

What are we?
We are all inhabitants of that same society. It seems nothing has transformed!
Those glimpses have left the mark only.
The characteristics have still been there. They are prevalent!
The society is retelling the story through different characterizations and anecdotes!

The characteristics of " An Origin" are: Spiritual insight, Blind adherence, lack of realization, sensation, ambiguity of aspirations.
It's about self righteousness and blindness to drawbacks again!
It indicates ordeal of duty and veracity.
It includes self abnegation and immolation.
It is the story of honor and fulfillment! It is about DIGNITY.

It is known as Mahabharata!

A mistake

The characterization of Bheeshma indeed creates a few conflicts and ambiguity.
Major conflict is about '' A MISTAKE''!
Whose mistake is that?
Devrath?
Satyavati?
Shantnu?

Satyavati who defines two words!
Honor or recognition and fulfillment.
This conflict has been a major reason which brings in the main narrative.
Does fulfillment really exist or come out from recognition or honor?

But the main element has been our ignorance; blindness or adherence to that recognition which is not genuine! No matter whether the person deserves recognition or not.

Being a son, Devrath had been waiting for father's care and love, respect or peaceful life but he has to sacrifice! It is believed that truth doesn't require anything. It doesn't need to be proved! Mankind has to prove veracity but falseness doesn't need to be punished!

How undefinable mother- son relationship is! It is proved through the relationship of Devrath and Ganga. The mother is always known as a divine presence. Whenever or wherever she is addressed or called, she makes herself visible.
It is about dignity of mother!

Vast difference is there between Ganga and Satyavati. Ganga doesn't even bother to interfere when Bheeshma steps back from his given place; deserved place. She discerns everything. On the other side Satyavati has been shown so selfish who thinks of her children even when they haven't taken birth on the earth!

Love is blind! Yes really it is! It destroys everything if veracity is ignored or as far as reality is concerned!

Parents' consciousness, awareness and belongingness play vital role! Children's welfare is put up at the center but somehow ''WELFARE'' falls under the category of '' future security''. But security of upcoming things is proved futile, if construction of characterization is ignored. This is worth discerning! Worth- a realization too.

Bheeshma doesn't fall under the category of other religious heroes who have '' lack of determination''. Frequent determination is perhaps his fault. Bheeshma stands for a person whose dignity, greatness solve everything, If we see from the perspective of paternal love. It plays vital role! If he or Shantnu had thought of welfare of Hastinapur , the decision would have been different. Why didn't they think of satyavati's aspirations which indicate her self- love or nature that seems to be selfish? She yearns for rights or privileges , security and future! Why is she bent on thinking about these things? Why can't Shantanu discern this? Shouldn't he have questioned?

It's conflict between security and love.
Love is questioned!
To be obedient and to remain blind to visible things or to follow unnecessary matters is Bheeshma's lack! He tries to make things visible before others's eyes including Satyavati too. But it is ignored! Bheeshma goes on responding to her sayings. His nature characteristic of blind obedience destroys everything. Doesn't it?

Sometimes blind obedience brings adversity! In spite of being endowed with many qualities; due to his extreme  goodness and humbleness, his lack is identified!

Our agreement just because we have promised to perform duty is our drawback and fault! Nothing else! Instead it doesn't mean you are so wise, humble, great but it is your lack which makes you '' BLIND''. You are supposed to get rid of it.

Great man is the one who can't tolerate people's misdeeds, who has ability to discern everything in terms of veracity! What is to be done or what is not to be done. Many a times severity becomes necessary. Unkindness isn't only taken in portraying the person's lack or fault.

Perhaps Bheeshma's severity towards Styavati would have brought positive results. Many a times Bheeshma lacks that genuine and true insight of realization or sensation guts couldn't be found in him!

Dhritarastra- the character who should be known by his intensity of passion and desire!
Not blind by eyes but by mind who has no eye of mind but it's mind- blindness that leads to adversity or destruction!
Who has made love; devotion and care fall under the category of sympathy!
Major conflict lies in it! Is it blindness that leads everything to drawbacks or drawbacks that lead to blindness; mind-blindness?
Gandhari- the character can be known for self- abnegation and genuine feeling for sacrifice; cold of hatred!
It is ''HE'' who despite being blind, has remained far away from perceptiveness, who lacks that sense of keen insight of discerning the things!
